Writing an EBook - Why You Must Write an EBook in Your Niche to Be Taken Seriously on the Internet

You must write an eBook if you want to be taken seriously on the internet. This eBook can later become a traditional book, or even self-published. Get started now and you will have your writing completed in a very short time.

Once you have become an author, people will see you very differently than they do now. You will have successfully positioned yourself as an expert in your niche, and people from around the world will seek you out for your knowledge, tips, and advice.

Your first eBook does not have to be very long. You can write from fifty to eighty pages and give enough valuable information that readers will be satisfied. Sometimes shorter is even more desirable because many people will want to print it out to read offline.

Make sure you format your eBook in much the same way as a traditional book is laid out. Include an introduction, a table of contents, and a resource section at the end. Also, use footers and headers to let people know the title, chapter, and other pertinent information, on every single page.

Once you have completed your writing, let everyone know about it. Send press releases, hold teleseminars, and use social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, to announce what you have done. Include the title of your eBook in your bio, resume, email and forum signature lines, and everywhere else you happen to be. Let the world know that you have authored an eBook on your topic, and wait until you see the reaction from others. Opportunities will open up that you could never have imagined before.
