The one question you must ask before deciding to create an ebook is - what topic is your ebook going to be about? Right now, maybe you feel that you don't have enough knowledge to sell products online. Don't worry, sooner or later you will acquire the required knowledge.
So the first thing you have to do is to decide on the topic of your ebook. In the beginning, I listed out all my interests and went on from there. I suggest you do the same. Create a document in Notepad or Microsoft Word and make a list of the topics that you have knowledge about or have an interest in.
What if you don't have knowledge on the topic you are interested in? Well, you can certainly read up on the topic by borrowing books from the library or reading articles online. If push comes to shove, you can hire a ghostwriter from Elance to write up your ebook for you.
Once you have decide on the topic that you want to publish your ebook about, it's time to break it down into sub-topics. For example, for golf, you might have sub-topics like choosing a golf club, how to improve your golf swing, tricks etc. These sub-topics will form the basis of your ebook chapters. In fact, what I do is write out the contents page first and simply fill it up with sub-topics.
